The supper had gone cold, sitting on the table until the wee hours of the morning. She sat, stone-faced, at the front window,
another baboon. I couldn't believe it! We did set a few more traps that usual but I had never expected such a catch! I ran to get the net
and scoop the fish out of the drain. He nearly lost the sparkly gold one with the black stripes when it decided to jump onto the counter. In seconds he had managed to
tilt the snack machine just far enough forward so that the package of Little Debbie Snack Cakes he'd been lusting after all day
and now evening was finally here and I could taste the sweetness of the corn, butter dripping down my chin and onto my shirt. Ahh... summertime, it was like
Winter, but with less snow. Which was good, because I am alergic to snow.
