Fantastical imaginings of parallel universes were commonplace amongst
the residents of the locked ward.
Let us remember that these were the days of "alternative therapy" treatment, which included not only hypnotherapy but electro-shock therapy and
ultimate frisbee with a shuriken. Tough love, they called it. I called it
Flopsy, which I felt was a really very apt name for it, under the circumstances. The circumstances being, of course,
that everything took place in the theater of my mind.
