Looking back I realised that it must end, I couldn't go on letting it effect me like this
. I was ready for mild elation or even poignant reverie, but nothing could have prepared me for the savage grief that ripped through me like
a valley girl on acid. It was a horrendous experience. I was glad that I lived to tell the tale. I wrote about it in a newspaper article and was interviewed by
Walter Cronkite, the most trusted man in America.
but, he had a deep dark secret that only his bestfriend, Billy May, knew about. that secret was
that for years, John had never washed his hands after going to the toilet.
